Cards and Camaraderie

If you’re into cards, then you’ll love Cribbage, a game of strategy, tactics, and counting that is well known for its unique game board–a series of holes (“streets”) on which the score is tallied with pegs (also known as “spilikins”).

Similar to our Billiards Program format, Cribbage tournaments are held throughout the year. As the year progresses, points are tallied and, at the end of the year, the players with the highest number of points compete in the Annual Tournament of Champions in December. Cribbage tournaments are typically  held once per month on Saturday at 11am, with signups beginning at 10:45am. The 2011 schedule is outlined below, and you can also find these tournaments on our Calendar page.

January 8 - February 26 - March 12 - April 16 - May 14 - June 18 - July 16 - August 6 - September 10 - October 15 - November 12 - December 3 - December 17 (Tournament of Champions)
